Connor Welsch is a linebacker for Iowa State at 6'2" and 197 pounds. The Ankeny, Iowa native prepped at Centennial High School, where he earned Second-Team All-State honors in 2023 and recorded 39.5 tackles with 1.5 for loss and an interception as a senior. Welsch redshirted in 2024 and appeared in nine games during the 2025 season, registering three tackles, all coming in the season finale against Oklahoma State.
