Bradley Esser is a weakside linebacker for Iowa State from Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He attended Harrisburg High School under head coach Brandon White, where he was named a four-star prospect by Rivals and ranked No. 4 in South Dakota. Esser earned three-star status from recruiting services and served as team captain. As a junior, he helped Harrisburg reach the Class 11AAA playoffs semifinals with an 8-3 record and was selected First Team All-State. He repeated All-State honors as a senior after accumulating 156 tackles, 16 for loss, five forced fumbles, and three sacks throughout his high school career. Esser also competed in track.
