Katin Houser is a 6'3", 225-pound quarterback who transferred to Illinois with one year of eligibility remaining after signing on January 4, 2026. The Anaheim, California native, who attended St. John Bosco High School, previously played at East Carolina University. Houser entered 2026 with 26 career starts, tied for the 12th-most among active FBS quarterbacks. Across four college seasons, he accumulated 6,438 passing yards and 43 passing touchdowns, along with 15 rushing touchdowns.
