Dane Eisenmenger is a true freshman quarterback for the Illinois Fighting Illini. From Tolono, Illinois, he attended Unity High School, where he was a four-year letterwinner and three-year starting quarterback. As a starter, he led the Rockets to a 30-9 record with state playoff appearances including the championship game in 2025. In his senior season, Eisenmenger set single-season records with 3,447 passing yards and 39 touchdowns. He capped his high school career by setting state championship game records with 545 passing yards, 7 touchdown passes, 42 completions, and 65 attempts. Eisenmenger holds Unity records with 8,801 career passing yards and 111 passing touchdowns while throwing just 11 interceptions. He was named the News-Gazette 2026 Boys' Athlete of the Year.
