Grant Beerman is a 6'5", 235-pound linebacker from West Chester, Ohio, who attended Lakota West High School. A four-star recruit by Rivals and 247Composite, he recorded 103 tackles, 15.0 tackles for loss, and 2.0 sacks as a senior, along with three pass breakups and one interception. Beerman played in 11 games during his 2025 freshman season for Illinois, primarily on special teams, and recorded his first career tackle, a solo stop, against Washington on October 25, 2025. He is currently a sophomore on the roster.
