Cameron Thomas is a weakside linebacker for Illinois standing 6'0" and weighing 205 pounds. The Cincinnati native from Lakota West High School was a four-star recruit by national outlets and earned three-star ratings from recruiting services. During his prep career, Thomas accumulated 211 tackles along with 40 stops for loss and 16 sacks. He recorded six forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and three interceptions while earning three-time All-Ohio honors. Thomas was selected to the 2026 U.S. Army All-American Bowl and currently majors in exploratory studies as a true freshman with the Fighting Illini.
