Caden Considine is a true freshman linebacker at Illinois standing 6'2" and weighing 210 pounds. Born in Byron, Illinois, he played for head coach Jeff Boyer at Byron High School, where he compiled 284 tackles, six interceptions, and three forced fumbles across his prep career. As a senior, Considine recorded 84 tackles and three interceptions defensively while rushing 175 times for 2,119 yards and 40 touchdowns. He led Byron to IHSA 3A state championships in 2023 and 2025, earning 2023 and 2025 IHSFCA All-State honors. During the 2025 title game, he posted 430 yards of total offense, three touchdowns, 13 tackles, and a game-clinching pass breakup with 16 seconds remaining. Considine also excelled in baseball and basketball; he set the Illinois state record with 222 runs scored. His father, Sean Considine, played at Iowa and was drafted by the NFL in 2005.
