JD Rhym is a left cornerback from Valdosta, Georgia, who transferred to Houston from Auburn. A consensus 4-star recruit in the 2022 class, Rhym recorded 20 tackles and one interception across 10 games during his two seasons at Auburn (2022-23), including one start at cornerback against Mississippi State. At Houston, he appeared in all 12 games as a sophomore in 2024, logging 158 total snaps with 135 on special teams and contributing 23 defensive snaps.
