Jacory Thurman is a tight end for the Houston Cougars standing 6'4" and weighing 240 pounds. The Houston native prepped at Worthing High School, where he was a consensus three-star prospect ranked No. 32 nationally at the position by recruiting services and No. 9 in Texas by Dave Campbell's Texas Football. At Worthing, Thurman played receiver and edge, helping the team to an undefeated regular season in 2024 and a district title in 2023—the program's first since 2013. He also competed in track, running a 53.25 in the 400 meters and qualifying for the 4A regional in relay events. Thurman enrolled at UH in January 2025 and is a redshirt freshman scout team member.
