Joseph Holt is a redshirt freshman safety for Georgia State, wearing jersey 17. The Birmingham, Alabama native attended Parker High School, where he recorded 53 tackles in 13 games as a junior and 31 tackles in 10 games as a senior for 76 combined tackles over two seasons. In 2025, Holt appeared in three games and registered one tackle and one interception against Old Dominion on November 29.
