Donovan Faria is a safety from Land O'Lakes, Florida, who transferred to Georgia State after one season at Gannon University. At Land O'Lakes High School, he played wide receiver and safety, earning second-team all-conference honors in 2023 and first-team honors in 2024 while helping his team win a district championship. During his 2025 freshman year at Gannon, Faria appeared in 10 games and recorded 39 tackles, including 31 unassisted, ranking sixth on the team. He posted a season-high eight tackles against Indiana (PA) on November 1, added two sacks and 6.5 tackles for loss, and intercepted one pass.
