Turner Helton, a 6'2" quarterback from Palos Verdes Estates, California, transferred to Georgia Southern in the spring after two seasons at Western Kentucky. In 2025-26, he appeared in three games and completed 14 of 26 passes for 74 yards and one touchdown while rushing twice for 11 yards. His passing performances included 4 of 9 for 24 yards against USC, 9 of 16 for 49 yards and a touchdown versus Old Dominion, and a completion late in Georgia Southern's win over Maine. Helton, a redshirt senior majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies, made the Honor Roll in the fall.
