Bio

Brandon Alford is an interior linebacker for Georgia Southern, standing 5'11" and weighing 205 pounds. A native of Forsyth, Georgia, Alford played at Mary Persons High School under coach Brian Nelson, where he earned first-team all-region honors as a senior and GACA All State recognition after posting 48 tackles. He joined Georgia Southern as a walk-on through the Edwin Jackson Memorial Walk-On Tryouts in spring 2024 and redshirted that year. Alford has not appeared in game action during the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons but has maintained academic standing on the Honor Roll and Sun Belt Conference Commissioner's List.
