Jalen Harris is a running back for the Fresno State Bulldogs. The Berkeley, California native attended Berkeley High School, where he recorded 23 receptions for 470 yards and 9 touchdowns. As a senior, he added 11 carries totaling 159 yards and one touchdown. Harris also competed in soccer and track and field during high school, earning first-team all-league honors in football. He transferred to Fresno State after playing at Merritt College, where he was a member of the track program. Harris has family ties to Bulldog football: his grandfather Carl Ray Harris Sr. and uncle Carl Ray Harris Jr. both attended Fresno State, as did former receiver Lee Harris.
