Brandon Ramirez is a running back for Fresno State from Hanford, California, who attended San Joaquin Memorial High School. Originally signed as a defensive back, he transitioned to running back in summer 2023. After redshirting as a freshman in 2023 and missing 2024 with a fall camp injury, Ramirez appeared in all 13 games during the 2025 season, earning one start against Wyoming on November 15. He carried the ball 60 times for 271 yards and three touchdowns while adding five receptions for 52 yards. His rushing attack recorded its most yards since 2018.
