Gerayas Grimes is a defensive back for the Fresno State Bulldogs. The 5'11", 190-pound sophomore from Queen Creek, Arizona, attended Casteel High School, where he recorded 207 tackles, eight interceptions, and four forced fumbles across his three-year varsity career. As a senior in 2023, he earned first-team all-region honors while totaling 74 tackles, 4.0 for loss, two interceptions, 11 passes defended, three forced fumbles, and one blocked field goal. Grimes redshirted during his freshman season in 2024 and appeared in five games in 2025 without recording a statistic.
