Chase Perino is a true freshman defensive back for the Fresno State Bulldogs from Modesto, California. He attended Central Catholic High School, where he played football and baseball and earned All-District honors in football along with first-team All-League recognition. During his senior year, Perino recorded 1,713 all-purpose yards, 16 total touchdowns, 70 tackles (51 solo), and 4 interceptions. He also holds the school record for receiving yards at Central Catholic. In baseball, he earned first-team All-League honors, batting .407 with 37 hits and 4 home runs across 29 games. Perino was named ASB President and received the Valley Oak League Golden Scholar Award and Raider of the Year Award.
