Bo Ausmus is a linebacker for the Fresno State Bulldogs. The 6'0", 207-pound true freshman from Redondo Beach, California, attended Redondo Union High School, where he played linebacker and running back. At Redondo Union, Ausmus earned All-CIF and All-Area 1st team honors, was named Pioneer League Offensive Player of the Year, and received Redondo Football MVP recognition all four years. He accumulated 2,661 yards and 37 touchdowns in high school and tied the longest touchdown in a CIF Championship Game at 99 yards. Ausmus also competed in track and field, winning CIF championships in shot put and discus. He chose Fresno State for its coaching staff and proximity to home.
