Drake Stubbs, a safety from Jacksonville, Florida, joined Florida as a four-star recruit in the 2025 class. He appeared in seven games during his 2025 freshman season, initially contributing on special teams before moving to defensive snaps in the final two contests. Against No. 20 Tennessee, Stubbs recorded his first two tackles. He added one tackle in the rivalry win over Florida State, finishing the year with three total tackles.
