Bryce Thornton is a safety from College Park, Georgia, who attended Milton High School. A four-star recruit in the 2023 class, Thornton joined Florida after receiving offers from Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Florida State, Miami, and Tennessee. In 2023, he appeared in all 12 games with four starts, recording 34 tackles and 3.5 tackles-for-loss. During the 2024 season, Thornton played in ten games with seven starts and led the team with three interceptions, including two against Ole Miss. In 2025, he started in 11 games and compiled 56 total tackles, six pass breakups, five quarterback hurries, one sack, three tackles-for-loss, one interception, two fumble recoveries, and one forced fumble, while also returning a fumble recovery 37 yards for a touchdown.
