Zyere Horton is a 6'3", 225-pound linebacker from Alpharetta, Georgia who transferred to Florida Atlantic following the 2023 spring semester after beginning his college career at Georgia Southern in January 2022. At Georgia Southern, he appeared in four games as a redshirt freshman, recording one tackle across 23 total snaps. Since arriving at FAU, Horton has seen increased defensive opportunities. In 2025, he totaled 22 tackles, including 15 solo, along with three tackles for loss and two quarterback hurries.
