Nate Fischer is a 6'2", 230-pound linebacker for Florida Atlantic. A native of Sammamish, Washington, Fischer attended Skyline High School, where he recorded 10 interceptions during his varsity career, the second most in school history, and was named Multi-Purpose Player of the Year as a senior. He played two seasons at San Diego before transferring to FAU in January 2026. In 2025, Fischer earned All-PFL First Team Defense honors while appearing in all 12 games for the Toreros. He led USD with 97 total tackles (48 solo, 49 assists), third in the PFL, and 10 pass breakups, tied for second in the league. Fischer added 8.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, and an interception in the 29-7 win against Butler.
