Jay Crable is a redshirt junior rush end at Florida Atlantic who transferred to the program in January 2026. The 6'3", 240-pound prospect from Massillon, Ohio, previously played at Ohio as a redshirt sophomore in 2025, appearing in 13 games. During that season, he recorded 33 tackles, six sacks, eight tackles for loss, and four pass breakups, earning second-team All-MAC honors. His standout performance came against Bowling Green, where he posted three sacks among seven tackles while recovering a fumble and deflecting a pass. Crable was a three-star recruit in the 2023 class.
