Deshaun Batiste is a defensive end for Florida Atlantic standing 6'3" and weighing 258 pounds. A native of New Orleans who attended John F. Kennedy High School, Batiste joined the Owls in summer 2025 as a transfer from Tulane. In his first season at FAU, he recorded 23 total tackles, 4.0 sacks, 4.0 tackles for loss, and 3 quarterback hurries across multiple starts. At Tulane as a sophomore in 2024, he appeared in 12 games with 10 total tackles including 2.5 for a loss.
