The 6'3", 290-pound prospect verbally committed to East Carolina on November 10, 2025, and officially enrolled early in January 2026. At South Sumter, Massey helped his team record 3,225 yards of total offense and 41 touchdowns in 2025 and was selected to the FACA North/South game roster. A three-star recruit, he chose the Pirates over offers from Delaware State, Georgia State, and N.C. Central. Massey is expected to participate in spring drills at ECU.
