Trey Burke, a 6'3" quarterback from Spartanburg, South Carolina, verbally committed to East Carolina on June 6, 2025, and officially enrolled early in January 2026. At Spartanburg High School, Burke appeared in 26 games over three seasons, completing 236 of 420 passes for 3,095 yards and 30 touchdowns. As a senior, he completed 118 of 196 passes for 1,385 yards with 15 passing touchdowns and earned All-Region 2 AAAAA honors while leading the Vikings to a 9-3 record and the state playoff semifinals. Burke is a three-star prospect and now participates in spring drills with the Pirates.
