Cole Hodge is a quarterback for East Carolina, standing 6'0" and weighing 198 pounds. A native of Louisville, Kentucky, he attended Christian Academy of Louisville, where he played under head coach Hunter Cantwell and helped lead the Centurions to state championships as a junior and senior. During his senior season, Hodge completed 18 of 20 passes for 238 yards and five total touchdowns in a 41-16 state title victory over Bell County, earning championship game MVP honors. As a junior, he completed 73.0 percent of his passes for 2,949 yards with 48 touchdowns and four interceptions while rushing for 711 yards and nine scores. He was named Kentucky 3A Player of the Year as a senior and 3A State Player of the Year as a junior. Hodge signed with East Carolina in December 2023 and enrolled in January 2025. He redshirted during the 2025 season without appearing in game action.
