Mason Brown is a tight end for East Carolina who joined the program as a walk-on in fall 2023. He redshirted during his first year and appeared in one game in 2024 against Florida Atlantic. In 2025, Brown played in 10 games with one start against Campbell, where he lined up at wide receiver. He appeared in nine consecutive contests following the Campbell game, primarily contributing on special teams kickoff and punt units. Brown earned his first varsity letter and was named to the American Conference All-Academic Team in 2024. A junior in the classroom, he stands 6'4" and weighs 261 pounds.
