Bio

Jon Morris is a weak-side linebacker who transferred to Duke from the University of Connecticut. During two seasons (2024-25) with the Huskies, he appeared in 16 games and recorded six tackles. He registered a career-high three stops against Duke in 2025. Morris, who stands 6'2" and weighs 215 pounds, hails from Fairfield, Connecticut, where he attended Fairfield Prep under head coach Keith Hellstern. As a high school senior, he posted 110 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, and two interceptions, earning All-SCC Tier 1 Defensive Back honors in 2023 and a spot on the Connecticut All-State Top 28 Football players list.
