Micah Welch is a running back for the Colorado Buffaloes who was a three-star recruit from Baldwin High School in Milledgeville, Georgia. In his first season as a true freshman in 2024, he appeared in nine games with three starts, recording 186 rushing yards on 43 carries and four touchdowns, plus eight receptions for 54 yards. During the 2025 season, Welch played all 12 games and started the first eight, leading the team with 384 rushing yards on 96 carries and four touchdowns while adding 11 receptions for 37 yards. Through 21 career games with 11 starts, he has accumulated 570 rushing yards on 139 carries and eight rushing touchdowns, ranking 92nd in program history.
