At Incarnate Word across three seasons, he accumulated 1,053 rushing yards on 179 carries with nine touchdowns and 34 receptions for 234 yards and one touchdown. In 2024, his final season with the Cardinals, he rushed for 909 yards on 152 carries and nine touchdowns while catching 22 passes for 163 yards, earning First-Team All-Conference honors. During his 2025 debut season at Colorado, Taylor appeared in the first four games, starting against Wyoming in week four.
