Jaylon Johnson is a 6'4", 250-pound right defensive end from Antioch, Tennessee, who attended Cane Ridge High School. He played two seasons at Northwest Mississippi Community College, where he recorded 46 total tackles as a sophomore in 2024, leading the Rangers with 11 quarterback hurries, 10 tackles-for-loss, and six sacks. Johnson transferred to Charlotte for the 2025 season, appearing in 10 games with seven starts. He finished with 20 tackles, 1.5 tackles-for-loss, one sack, and three quarterback hurries while forcing a fumble.
