James Reinbold is a senior defensive lineman for Central Michigan who transferred from Cornell University in June 2026. The 6'4", 260-pound lineman from Anchorage, Alaska, played four seasons at Cornell (2022-25), appearing in 31 games and recording 75 total tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, 5.0 sacks, and two recovered fumbles. His most productive year came in 2025, when he started all 10 games at defensive end, earned Second Team All-Ivy League honors, and was named a CSC First Team Academic All-American—becoming the first in Cornell football history. That season, he compiled 45 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, and forced two fumbles.
