Tommy Prassas is a 6'2", 200-pound nickel back from Chandler, Arizona, currently a junior at BYU. A three-star recruit with a composite score of 0.8386, Prassas prepped at Basha High School, where he recorded 197 total tackles including 90 solo stops, 6 interceptions, and 13 pass breakups. In 2024 as a true freshman, he played in all 13 games and earned Big 12 Defensive Freshman of the Year Honorable Mention, recording his first career interception and fumble recovery for a touchdown against Kansas State. During the 2025 season, Prassas appeared in four regular season games plus two postseason contests, starting twice at nickel, and tallied nine total tackles.
