Background & career
Crew Clark is a 6'1", 195-pound safety for the BYU Cougars, currently in his redshirt freshman season wearing number 28. The Sugar City, Idaho native is the son of Mike and Sicily Clark; his father played football at Ricks College and the University of Houston, while his grandfather Jay-Dee Clark played offensive line at BYU. Clark attended Sugar Salem High School in Idaho, where he was a two-time state champion and first-team all-state defensive back. He also earned first-team all-state honors as a return specialist during his junior and senior years, competed in basketball and track, and was a two-time basketball state champion. Before joining BYU, Clark spent time at the University of Idaho. Away from football, he has worked as a fly fishing guide in Alaska and enjoys hunting.
