KJ Sampson is a nose tackle for Boston College who joined the program mid-year in 2026 as a redshirt junior transfer from Florida State. At Florida State, he appeared in 26 career games across three seasons and recorded 11 tackles including 1.5 for loss in 10 games at defensive tackle. Sampson was a consensus four-star recruit from New Bern High School in North Carolina, ranked No. 5 in the state. In his prep career, he accumulated 255 tackles with 47.0 for loss and 31.5 sacks, plus two forced fumbles and one interception. During New Bern's 16-0 state championship season in 2022, he made 96 tackles including 23.0 for loss and 18.0 sacks.
