Josiah Griffin is a 6'4", 265-pound redshirt junior defensive end for Boston College from Springfield, MA, where he graduated from Springfield Central. He redshirted in 2023 before appearing in 12 games during 2024, primarily on special teams, recording two tackles against Duquesne (9/7) and recovering a fumble versus Nebraska (12/28) in the Bad Boy Mowers Pinstripe Bowl. In 2025, Griffin saw action in six games at defensive end and registered his first career interception, deflecting and picking off a pass from SMU quarterback Kevin Jennings in the second quarter on 11/8. He maintains a Psychology major and receives the Ramsey Family Athletic Scholarship Fund.
