Jacob Redding is a free safety for Baylor from New Braunfels, Texas. A redshirt junior, Redding played in 11 games during the 2025 season with nine starts, compiling 53 tackles, 0.5 tackles for loss, and three interceptions. One of his interceptions was returned 66 yards for a touchdown against Kansas State. He added two pass breakups while appearing in games against Auburn, SMU, Arizona State, Oklahoma State, Kansas State, TCU, Cincinnati, UCF, Utah, and Arizona. Redding finished with 12 tackles during his 2024 redshirt freshman campaign across all 13 games.
