Austin Ausberry is a safety from Baton Rouge, LA who attended University Lab HS. A four-star recruit in the 2022 class, he began his college career at Auburn, playing in four games in 2022 and recording one tackle. He appeared in four games at Auburn in 2023, notching one tackle against Ole Miss. Ausberry then transferred to LSU, where he played in 12 games during 2024, primarily on special teams with 74 snaps on kickoff coverage and 51 on kickoff return, and recorded one tackle against USC in Las Vegas. In 2025, he played in four games at LSU, seeing action against Clemson, Alabama, Louisiana Tech, and Southeastern Louisiana. Over 24 collegiate games, he has three total tackles.
