Devin Turner is a safety from Little Elm, Texas, who attended Lone Star High School before playing three seasons at Northwestern. Across 31 games with 26 starts for the Wildcats, Turner recorded 162 tackles, 3.5 for a loss, four interceptions, seven pass break-ups and one forced fumble. In 2024, he started 11 games and posted 51 tackles with three interceptions and three pass break-ups. During his 2023 sophomore campaign, Turner appeared in 13 games with 12 starts, tallying 79 tackles and five pass break-ups. Turner joined Baylor as a transfer in 2025 but suffered a non-contact injury during the spring game that ended his season and forced a redshirt.
