Chris Murray is a 6'3", 256-pound buck from Wichita Falls, TX who transferred to Auburn from Sam Houston. He redshirted during the 2021 season at TCU before joining the Bearkats, where he recorded 52 tackles, 13.0 tackles for loss, and 6.5 sacks across 26 games from 2022–24, earning first team all-CUSA honors in 2024 with 35 tackles, 11.5 TFL, and 5.5 sacks. In 2025, Murray appeared in all 12 games for the Tigers, totaling 15 tackles and 3.5 sacks while adding a forced fumble. He registered 0.5 sacks in his Auburn debut versus Baylor and posted season-high four tackles, including a sack, at Texas A&M.
