Taven Curry is a running back from Loxley, Alabama who attended Robertsdale High School before playing college football at UAB and UL-Monroe. At UAB (2022–23), he appeared in four games and rushed for 46 yards on nine carries. During his 2024 season at UL-Monroe, Curry played in 11 games, accumulating 153 yards on 32 attempts for a 4.8 yards-per-attempt average and 13.9 yards per game, with a long run of 64 yards against UAB on September 7. In 2025 with Akron, he has appeared in five games, rushing for 54 yards on nine carries at 6.0 yards per attempt, including eight carries for 55 yards against Massachusetts on November 4.
