Tommy Townsend is a 6-foot-1-inch punter from Florida who joined the Tennessee Titans as an unrestricted free agent in March 2026. Originally signed by Kansas City as an undrafted free agent in 2020, Townsend spent four seasons with the Chiefs, appearing in Super Bowl LV and Super Bowl LVIII. He recorded a 50.4-yard average in 2022—the highest single-season mark in franchise history—and was named first-team All-Pro and Pro Bowl selection that year. After two seasons with Houston, Townsend punted 72 times for 3,424 yards at a 47.6 average in 2025. He holds 17 playoff games and 53 career punts, more than any other active punter.
