Kaelon Black is a running back for the San Francisco 49ers, selected 90th overall in the 2025 draft. The 5'9", 208-pound Virginia Beach native attended Salem High School and played college football at James Madison (2020–2023) and Indiana (2024–2025), appearing in 56 games with 16 starts. Across six seasons, Black recorded 496 carries for 2,595 yards and 17 touchdowns, plus 55 receptions for 528 yards and 6 scores. In 2025 at Indiana, he appeared in all 16 games and rushed 187 times for 1,039 yards and 10 touchdowns while catching 4 passes for 36 yards. Black graduated from Indiana with a degree in liberal studies and was a college teammate of 49ers quarterback Kurtis Rourke and defensive lineman C.J. West.
