Leonard Williams is a 32-year-old defensive end who was drafted 6th overall in the first round by the New York Jets in 2015 after playing at USC. He spent time with the Giants before joining the Seattle Seahawks in a November 2023 trade and re-signed with Seattle on March 13, 2024. In 2024, Williams recorded 11.0 sacks and 16 tackles for loss, ranking first among NFL interior linemen in both categories. He became the first Seattle player since 2018 with double-digit sacks and was named NFC Defensive Player of the Month for December/January. On December 1, 2024, against the Jets, he recorded 2.0 sacks, a 92-yard interception-return touchdown, and a blocked kick in a single game—the first player since 1982 to accomplish this feat.
