Sebastian Castro is a free safety for the Pittsburgh Steelers who stands 5'11" and weighs 195 pounds. The Iowa product signed with Pittsburgh after playing five seasons with the Hawkeyes (2020–24), where he appeared in 53 games with 32 starts and recorded 163 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, five forced fumbles, and four interceptions. In 2024, his final college season, Castro started 10 games and posted 45 tackles with three tackles for loss. Castro entered the NFL in 2025, making his debut in Week 6 against San Francisco. He has appeared in nine regular-season games across stops with Tampa Bay and Pittsburgh, registering three tackles on special teams.
