Rico Dowdle is a running back from South Carolina who went undrafted and signed with the Cowboys in 2020, making his NFL debut in Week 1 at Los Angeles. He spent his first four seasons in Dallas before joining the Steelers in 2026. In 2025 with Carolina, Dowdle rushed for 1,076 yards and six touchdowns on 236 carries while catching 39 passes for 297 yards and one touchdown across 17 games. He recorded back-to-back 200+ yard scrimmage games in Weeks 5 and 6, becoming the first player since Le'Veon Bell in 2014 to accomplish that feat.
