Julius Welschof is a 6'6", 266-pound right outside linebacker with two years of NFL experience with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played five seasons at Michigan (2018-22) and one season at Charlotte (2023). At Michigan, he appeared in 35 games over four playing seasons, including all 14 games in both 2021 and 2022, when he recorded six tackles and the team reached the College Football Playoffs. He was named Special Teams Player of the Week following solo tackles at Rutgers and earned two Academic All-Big Ten honors. In his final collegiate campaign at Charlotte, he started the first four games before an injury ended his season, recording four tackles and two quarterback hits in non-conference play. Welschof has yet to make his NFL debut.
