Bio
Doug Nester is a right guard who stands 6'6" and weighs 319 pounds. The Pittsburgh Steelers signed him as an undrafted free agent after he began his college career at Virginia Tech (2019-20) before transferring to West Virginia (2021-23). Across both programs, he appeared in 56 games with 52 starts, including 36 games for the Mountaineers and 20 for the Hokies. In 2023, his senior year, Nester played 660 offensive snaps without allowing a sack. West Virginia's offensive line led Power 5 schools in rushing yards with 2,976 and recorded 32 rushing touchdowns that season. Nester has yet to make his NFL debut and spent the 2024 and 2025 seasons on Pittsburgh's practice squad.
