Derrick Harmon, a 6'4", 310-pound defensive end, was selected 21st overall by Pittsburgh in the 2025 NFL Draft. The 23-year-old played three seasons at Michigan State (2021–23) before transferring to Oregon for 2024, where he started all 14 games and recorded 10.5 tackles for loss and 5.0 sacks while earning Second Team All-American honors. In his rookie NFL season with the Steelers, Harmon played in 12 regular-season games with eight starts, registering 27 tackles (11 solo), 3.0 sacks, five quarterback hits, one tackle for loss, and one pass defensed.
